Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties
Support cardiovascular procedures including CABGs, TCARS, and carotids
Assist with complex neuro cases such as craniotomies and spinal surgeries
Handle orthopedic trauma and total joint replacements using advanced robotic systems
Provide expert care during general, urology, and minimally invasive robotic procedures
Precept and mentor fellow team members when needed
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven robotics experience with DaVinci and Mako systems
Strong background circulating CABGs and craniotomies
Ability to handle call with 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating in CV, neuro, ortho, and general surgery
Comfortable with both Mako and DaVinci robotic platforms
Solid understanding of trauma and open procedures
Ability to precept and support new team members
Flexible and reliable with call requirements
