Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and complex surgeries
Partner closely with patients and families to support healing and recovery every step of the way
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and deliver acute MedSurg interventions with confidence
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team including rehab physicians and therapists
Float to other MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellence in every assignment

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Comfortable with high-level communication and patient-family partnership
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Strong sterile field technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Ability to work in a low-stimulation neuro environment
Experience with TBI, brain tumor resection, CVA, and transplant patients
Team collaboration and adaptability when floating between units
