Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for multiple facilities from a centralized command center
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
Accurately document and communicate cardiac rhythm changes to local RN staff
Follow proper communication channels during routine and emergency situations
Contribute to improved patient outcomes and department metrics

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating job knowledge and abilities
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting assignment
Preferred 3 years of experience in cardiac monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

Remote Cardiac Monitoring expertise
Arrhythmia Detection and recognition
EKG Interpretation proficiency
Cardiac Rhythm Recognition skills
Strong attention to detail and communication abilities
