Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in on a variety of cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro procedures
Independently perform cranial procedures and assist with neuro-trauma call
Support total joint and orthopedic trauma surgeries with precision and care
Operate advanced robotic systems including DaVinci, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
Maintain strict adherence to patient safety protocols in a fast-paced OR environment
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred with BLS required
Strong experience in orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Proven ability to scrub independently on cranial and neuro-trauma cases
Comfortable working in an 11-suite OR with approximately 18 cases daily
Willingness to participate in call rotation including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expert scrubbing techniques for complex neuro and orthopedic procedures
Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Strong understanding of level II trauma protocols
Excellent communication skills and positive team attitude
