Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia
Provide expert post-operative care to ensure smooth recoveries
Collaborate with surgical teams for seamless patient handoffs
Administer medications and interventions with precision
Educate patients and families on recovery plans with compassion

Qualifications

Active RN license in Louisiana
PACU or critical care nursing experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-anesthesia patient monitoring
Proficiency in airway management and pain control
Knowledge of surgical recovery protocols
Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams
