Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality respiratory care and treatments tailored to each patient
Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and response to therapy
Administer and manage oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management
Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and related respiratory equipment
Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and timely
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care
Participate in orientation and training to ensure consistent, safe practice

Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license in Washington or ability to obtain prior to start
Credentialed as CRT or RRT preferred
Demonstrated patient-care experience in acute or pediatric settings is a plus
Current BLS; ACLS or PALS as applicable or willing to obtain
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

Associate degree or diploma in Respiratory Therapy, or equivalent
Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program; advanced credentials encouraged

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of respiratory assessment and pulmonary interventions
Familiarity with ventilator modes, oxygen delivery systems, and airway management
Comfortable with electronic charting and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize care in fast-paced clinical environments
Skilled at collaborating across interdisciplinary teams
