Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to adult behavioral health patients including geriatric psych and bipolar cases
Maintain optimal 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios in a 26-bed inpatient unit
Collaborate with the team to create meaningful recovery plans
Utilize EPIC charting to document progress and ensure top-notch care
Navigate de-escalation and support in a seclusion-equipped environment

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of experience
BLS (AHA) certification required
Valid driver's license for 60-mile radius rule
Ready for in-state orientation week

Education

BSN preferred but not required; ADN accepted with experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in geriatric psych and dementia care
Strong de-escalation and patient engagement skills
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Comfortable in fast-paced acute psychiatric settings
