Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, expert nursing care during overnight shifts to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and transitions
• Respond promptly to patient needs and urgent situations with sound clinical judgment
• Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy about care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Comfortable working overnight (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) shifts and providing hands-on care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS) preferred where applicable
• Previous acute care or per-diem nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Current RN license (required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Prioritization and time management during busy night shifts
• Patient/family education and discharge planning expertise
