Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Day shift, 5-hour shifts (exact start/end times vary; schedule to be confirmed). Orientation required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients and families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Document assessments, interventions, and progress in the patient record promptly
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities for new staff as required
Support quality improvement initiatives and follow facility protocols

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian credential (RD or RDN) required
California dietitian licensure required or eligibility to obtain
Comfort working 5-hour clinical shifts and attending required orientation
Strong communication skills and ability to work on an interdisciplinary team
Professional, compassionate approach to patient care

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (ACEND-accredited program preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Nutrition assessment and care planning
Patient education and counseling techniques
Interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
Clinical documentation best practices
Familiarity with common clinical nutrition conditions
