Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams using Signa Artist 1.5T equipment, ensuring excellent image acquisition
• Position and prepare patients for MRI studies with compassion and clear communication
• Follow safety protocols for MRI environment and screen patients thoroughly for contraindications
• Document exams accurately in Meditech and Centricity PACS so clinical teams have reliable images and reports
• Participate in the on-call rotation and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous service coverage
• Support a positive patient experience by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing empathetic care

Qualifications

• Valid MRI license (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (as indicated in job details)
• Familiarity with Signa Artist 1.5T preferred
• Experience with Meditech and Centricity PACS documentation systems
• Comfort participating in rotating call schedules

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in MRI safety and patient screening procedures
• Proficient in MRI protocols, image optimization and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Signa Artist 1.5T systems
• Documentation and image management using Meditech and Centricity PACS
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle call rotation
