Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with LPN scope
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly in the chart
Support admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers
Collaborate with nurses, physicians and allied staff to deliver coordinated care
Engage patients and families with respectful communication and education

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Maine license preferred if local)
Current BLS certification required or obtain upon hire
Comfortable working 12-hour night shift schedule
Prior experience in long term care, rehab, or similar settings is a plus
Strong communication skills and a patient centered mindset

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent diploma

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and basic nursing procedures
Medication administration and safety practices
Accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Infection control and wound care basics
Team collaboration and time management under busy conditions
