Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that inform patient care
• Perform MRI scans using GE Discovery 450 and follow established imaging protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
• Document procedures and clinical information accurately in Meditech
• Maintain MRI suite safety standards and adhere to infection control and privacy rules
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize imaging outcomes
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and coordinate with biomedical services when needed

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts and adaptable to weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in MRI imaging and radiology best practices
• Experience with GE Discovery 450 MRI systems
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record documentation
• Strong patient safety and infection control practices
• Ability to follow imaging protocols and work with radiology teams
