Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on assigned per-diem shifts
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders
Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate records in the EHR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
Support safe admissions, transfers, and discharges with clear communication

Qualifications

Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license (applicable to LPN or RN role)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification as required by facility
Clinical experience in a relevant care setting preferred
Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts on a per-diem basis and be flexible with scheduling
Current immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy

Education

LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) depending on role

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Comfortable using electronic health record systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Good time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
Commitment to infection control and patient safety standards
