Roles & Responsibilities

Provide life-saving care in a high-acuity Level 1 trauma emergency department
Manage a diverse patient population from pediatrics to adults with critical conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver rapid assessments and interventions
Utilize advanced skills in triage, resuscitation, and emergency procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency nursing experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of assignment or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA preferred)
TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume Level 1 trauma center

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing and trauma care
Proficiency in patient assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with pediatric and adult emergency protocols
Knowledge of ECG interpretation, IV therapy, and medication administration
