Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), includes weekend rotation at least once per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality oncology nursing care to a diverse patient population, including surgical, medical, and oncology patients.
Monitor telemetry and interpret EKGs to ensure patient safety.
Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified), and manage central lines.
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with strict adherence to sterile field.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including charge nurse, PCTs, and SWAT IV team.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of oncology and telemetry experience preferred
Chemo certification strongly preferred
Comfort with sterile field and central line management

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology nursing and telemetry monitoring
Medication administration and chemo therapy (if certified)
Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
EKG interpretation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
