Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings, responding to changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Document patient assessments and interventions accurately

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
Basic computer skills for electronic health records
