Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 12-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to intermediate care patients with complex medical needs
Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding to changes in patient status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

Current RN license in Massachusetts or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of IMC or step-down unit experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and interpretation
Knowledge of IV therapy and medication administration
Excellent patient assessment and documentation skills
Ability to prioritize care in a high-acuity setting
