Shift Type: Varies - 12-hour shifts, days/nights rotating

Candidate Pay Rate: $26 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a dynamic med surg unit
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the care team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records

Qualifications

Active RN license in Michigan (or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent med surg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced environments

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient assessment and critical thinking
Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
Great bedside manner and patient advocacy
