Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide telemetry monitoring and cardiac care to adult and geriatric patients
Titrate drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose Dopamine
Read and interpret cardiac strips independently
Manage PCU level care overflow patients and maintain a 1:3 ratio when needed
Collaborate with charge nurse and patient care techs for optimal patient outcomes
Float to PCU or MS for full patient assignments as needed

Qualifications

Must have PCU experience and ability to read cardiac strips
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Tele/cardiac nursing experience required
Epic experience preferred
First-time travelers welcomed
Must comply with 50-mile radius rule and not employed at any CommonSpirit facility

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
Drip titration and IV therapy
Patient assessment and critical thinking

EPIC proficiency
