Location: Davenport, Iowa

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 11-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with rotating weekends (every third weekend) and holiday rotation including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor telemetry and vital signs, detecting changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with standards

Qualifications

Active Iowa RN license in good standing
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or step-down experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Progressive care and telemetry monitoring
Critical thinking and rapid assessment
IV therapy and medication administration
Patient and family education
Effective communication and teamwork
