Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every third weekend, every other holiday; Work Labor Day weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert trauma and emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform rapid assessments and life-saving interventions
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
Educate patients and families on discharge plans and follow-up care

Qualifications

Current RN license in Iowa required
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing experience preferred
Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

Trauma nursing and emergency care protocols
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficient in patient assessment and documentation
Ability to multitask and prioritize in high-stress situations
