Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, self-scheduling, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU, oncology, and med-surg patients in a mixed unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for side effects and response
Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Float to med-surg and PCU units as required

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU/oncology experience
Chemotherapy certification preferred
EPIC experience preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring
Experience with ventilator management and central lines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to self-schedule and adapt to changing patient needs
Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse patient populations
