Roles & Responsibilities

Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision and care
Assist physicians in diagnosing cardiac conditions through high-quality imaging
Prepare and educate patients for exams, ensuring comfort and understanding
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data for optimal continuity of care
Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience in echocardiography preferred, but new grads encouraged to apply
Ability to work independently and adapt to varying clinical settings

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Proficient in 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging techniques
Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interaction
Attention to detail and commitment to following established protocols
