Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all nursing operations at Pleasant Valley Nursing & Rehab
Ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with state and federal regulations
Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff to foster a collaborative team environment
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
Manage staffing schedules, budgets, and facility resources efficiently
Promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect for residents and staff

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state
Minimum 2-3 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care
Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and regulatory compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships
Interim or travel DON experience is a plus

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Deep understanding of skilled nursing facility operations and regulations
Leadership and team-building abilities to inspire excellence
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
Flexibility to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
