Location: Alturas, California

Start Date: 07-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends; some holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Receive and give reports on residents' conditions to ensure continuity of care
Make rounds on each resident, assess new residents, and monitor those who are ill or injured
Document assessments per facility policy
Notify nurses of any changes in residents' conditions or needs
Assist with direct patient care and ensure call lights are answered promptly
Promote good working relationships with departments, coworkers, residents, families, and physicians

Qualifications

Must hold an active California CNA license
Less than 1 year of experience welcome - we'll train you
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, ATT
Ability to float to other units as needed
Strong communication and teamwork skills
