Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
Adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each resident

Qualifications

Valid COTA license in the state of Ohio
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
New graduates are welcome to apply - we support your growth!
Previous experience in SNF or long-term care is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
Ability to assess patient needs and adjust treatments accordingly
Proficiency in documentation and electronic medical records
Team collaboration and patient education skills
