Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the nursing department to ensure high-quality resident care
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in compliance with regulations
Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance of nursing personnel
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare standards
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license in West Virginia (or compact state)
Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a long-term care setting
BLS certification required
Must have completed or be willing to complete COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of nursing regulations and best practices
Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
Experience with electronic health records and scheduling systems
