Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan and implement therapeutic recreation activities to improve patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being
Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans using creative interventions
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate recreation therapy into overall care
Document patient progress and adjust activities to meet therapeutic goals
Lead group and individual sessions to promote engagement and rehabilitation

Qualifications

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required
Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field preferred
Current CPR certification
Experience in mental health or psychiatric settings is a plus
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of therapeutic recreation modalities and assessment tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and staff
Creative problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
