Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of dialysis and care for patients at Puget Sound Kidney Centers
• Provide education to patients and their families about dialysis and treatment plans
• Supervise Dialysis Technicians and ensure quality patient care
• Adjust treatment plans per standing orders and monitor patient outcomes
• Administer medications and participate in quality improvement projects
• Collaborate with the care team including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact Nurse license required
• Current CPR certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous dialysis experience required
• Acute or Ambulatory Nursing experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to work at any PSKC clinic on the peninsula (Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, Port Townsend)
• Must be able to work any shift (AM/PM) as needed based on staffing

• Patient education and communication skills
• Quality improvement and outcome monitoring
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Proficiency in acute and ambulatory nursing practices
