Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and MRI scans with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Administer MRI contrast agents and follow appropriate safety protocols
• Operate GE imaging equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Document studies and patient data accurately in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure timely, diagnostic studies
• Adapt to a multi-modality environment and float between CT and MRI as needed
• Provide excellent patient education and support before, during, and after imaging procedures

Qualifications

• MRI Registered — required
• 2+ years of imaging experience (CT/MRI preferred)
• Experience with contrast administration (MRI contrast and non-contrast exams)
• Comfortable using GE imaging systems and Cerner EMR (preferred)
• Breast MRI experience is a plus and will make your application stand out
• Ability to work rotating schedules, including rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT and MRI imaging protocols
• Strong knowledge of MRI contrast administration and safety
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records
• Patient-focused communication and positioning skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy multi-modality unit
