Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care: assist with ADLs, hygiene, feeding, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
Document care activities clearly and maintain accurate records
Follow infection control policies and keep patient areas clean and safe
Support residents’ dignity and independence through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania certification required or in good standing
Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting helpful (but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn count!)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable upon hire
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed and active CNA certification (state-required training program)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and interpersonal skills — kindness goes a long way
Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, patient transfers, and ADL assistance
Clear verbal and written communication for documentation and teamwork
Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
