Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe and comfortable resident transfers and positioning
Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly to licensed staff
Maintain clear, timely documentation in resident charts and care logs
Help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident dignity and independence

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible to obtain) in Pennsylvania
Completion of an approved CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of state-approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living and safe patient transfers
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Basic vital sign assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
Dependable, punctual, and able to handle physically active work
