Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics
Keep resident rooms and common areas clean and comfortable
Document care provided clearly and collaborate with the nursing team
Communicate with residents and families in a respectful, person-centered way

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Clean background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work an 8-hour shift
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basics of patient care and activities of daily living
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to follow care plans and directions from nursing staff
