Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living with dignity and respect
Provide safe and attentive hands-on care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Document care accurately and timely in resident charts
Support infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and coworkers
Communicate compassionately with residents and families, keeping them informed
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable performing hands-on resident care and lifting/transfer support
Clear background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but new grads welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of safe patient handling and basic infection control
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Basic charting and documentation skills
Calm, compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize resident needs
