Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility safely and respectfully
Document resident care accurately and timely in the charting system
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Follow infection control practices and maintain a safe, clean environment
Support admissions, transfers, and discharges with professionalism and care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (-certified nursing assistant) - Pennsylvania preferred
Comfortable performing ADLs and basic clinical tasks with attention to safety
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding and health screenings
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and assistance with activities of daily living
Basic clinical assessments and accurate documentation
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Infection prevention and adherence to facility protocols
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
