Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents — bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility assistance.
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, observations and timely charting.
Support mealtime needs and ensure patient comfort and dignity.
Communicate clearly with the care team and families about changes or concerns.
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety guidelines.
Participate in team huddles and contribute to continuous improvement of care.

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (state of Pennsylvania preferred) — you know your scope and you own it.
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain quickly.
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and basic charting.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements.

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control.
Skilled in safe resident transfers and mobility assistance.
Familiar with taking and documenting vital signs accurately.
Good observation skills — noticing changes in condition and reporting them.
Team-oriented mindset and the ability to follow care plans.
