Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Support safe patient transfers, mobility and positioning to prevent injury
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Assist with admissions, discharges and unit flow to keep things running smoothly

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Georgia (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required by facility)
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and follow clinical directions
Good communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
Previous acute care or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control best practices and PPE use
Charting fundamentals and basic EHR navigation
Strong time management and prioritization on busy shifts
Teamwork, clear communication and professional bedside manner
