Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts; exact start/end times and specific days vary and will be provided by the facility (schedule includes 12.5-hour shifts, may include nights and weekends)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care including bathing, dressing and mobility assistance
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, intake/output documentation and routine observations
Support safe transfers and ambulation to reduce fall risk and promote independence
Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the RN and care team
Maintain clear, accurate patient records and follow care plans
Contribute to a positive, respectful environment for patients, families and coworkers

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — must meet Georgia state requirements
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings or immunizations
Competent with basic patient care tasks and comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved Nurse Aide training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with patient hygiene, ADLs and safe transfer techniques
Basic clinical observation skills: measuring/recording vitals and reporting changes
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Teamwork and communication with interdisciplinary care teams
Time management skills to handle busy shift workflows
