Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and daily living assistance
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and toileting needs
Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition
Support skilled nursing staff with documentation and care plans
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families and the care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid CNA registration or license in Georgia or ability to obtain prior to start
Demonstrated ability to perform direct patient care safely and respectfully
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Vaccination and health screening per facility policy (as required)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care fundamentals and bedside manner
Familiarity with basic vital signs, ADLs and safe patient handling
Understanding of infection control and standard precautions
Reliable documentation and time management skills
Ability to follow directions from RNs and supervisors
