Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition
Assist nursing staff with care plans and follow established protocols
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
Maintain cleanliness and comfort of resident rooms and care areas
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families and team members
Document care activities accurately and timely in the facility systems

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Successful background check and drug screen as required by the facility
Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
State-recognized CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care skills focused on dignity and safety
Ability to perform ADLs, basic clinical tasks and documentation
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Detail-oriented with good time management and organization
