Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and fall-prevention protocols during daily care
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control procedures
Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid Pennsylvania CNA registration or proof of eligibility to practice in PA
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to provide compassionate care
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (lifting, transfers, standing for shifts)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
Working knowledge of care plans and following nursing direction
Teamwork, time management, and respectful patient communication
