Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care — assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Support nursing staff with vital signs, documentation, and timely communication
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful, kind interactions
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality patient care
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control practices and PPE use
Electronic and paper charting fundamentals
Time management and prioritization in a clinical setting
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with patients and families
