Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, days vary (per diem scheduling), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, evening/night shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assist with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly
- Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable and dignified environment for residents
- Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Document care delivered and follow facility policies and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (CNA) required
- Active state CNA license or certification valid for Pennsylvania
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to lift or assist patients as needed
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in activities of daily living support and basic patient care
- Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
- Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
- Strong observation skills and ability to report clinical changes
- Comfortable using basic electronic charting or paper documentation
- Customer service mindset with empathy for patients and families
