Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding while preserving dignity
• Take and record vital signs, observations, and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and transfers using proper techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
• Practice infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and colleagues

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active Pennsylvania CNA credential or ability to obtain state eligibility
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfort working evenings and on a per diem schedule
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living and basic bedside care
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Strong observational skills and ability to report changes accurately
• Team player with good communication and time-management skills
