Location: Danbury, CT

Start Date: 05-03-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (8 total hours per shift). Specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with facility.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Measure and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Communicate observations and changes in condition to nursing staff
Document care delivered in resident records per facility policy
Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes as needed

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid CNA registration/license for Connecticut (as applicable)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable attendance and the ability to work assigned shifts at the Danbury facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Infection control and safe handling practices
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Team-oriented communication and collaboration
