Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility; shift type: CNA

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Monitor and document patient status and notify nursing staff of changes
Assist with turning, positioning, and safe transfers to prevent injury
Support the care team with vital signs, intake/output tracking, and basic observations
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Georgia certification preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Demonstrated compassion and strong communication skills
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to staffing needs
Previous CNA experience preferred but dedicated new grads are welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and proper hand hygiene practices
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
Comfort using basic electronic documentation or paper charting
