Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem as scheduled, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Perform timely and accurate vital signs and reporting to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
Document care clearly and maintain accurate resident records
Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse in charge
Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff
Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and families
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification or equivalent credential
Current basic CPR or BLS certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Comfortable assisting with lifts and transfers and performing physical aspects of resident care
Prior experience in long term care or similar setting preferred but compassionate candidates are encouraged to apply

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of activities of daily living and basic nursing care
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
Knowledge of infection control principles and safe patient handling
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
