Shift Type: Tuesday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC (overnight)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Bloomfield Nursing and Rehab
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes promptly
- Document care thoroughly in the clinical record to ensure continuity
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize resident outcomes
- Educate residents and families with clear, respectful communication about care plans
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (required) — ability to practice in New Mexico preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain
- Comfort and experience working overnight shifts (Tuesday-Thursday)
- Strong clinical judgment, reliable documentation skills, and a team-oriented mindset
- Local candidate only as this is a local contract position
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe injection techniques
- Wound care and basic dressing changes
- Assessment of vital signs and identification of clinical changes
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Infection control best practices and resident safety
- Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
