Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Cedar Ridge Ctr
• Perform thorough assessments and develop/tailor care plans to patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policies
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality care
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and wellness
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency responses

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Maine or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
• Per diem clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Education

• ADN or BSN in Nursing preferred; equivalent nursing education and RN licensure acceptable

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate care
• Strong critical thinking and time-management skills
