Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned night shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Document patient care and interventions clearly in the electronic medical record
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS or other advanced certifications preferred
• Previous acute care, long-term care, or med-surg experience preferred
• Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts and independently on per diem assignments

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BSN preferred when available

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Proficiency with documentation and electronic medical records
• Infection control and patient safety best practices
• Clear communication and teamwork with patients, families, and staff
